How to integrate Square in Digital Menu Board App in Pickcel?

Integrating Square with Pickcel's platform allows you to seamlessly synchronize your menu items from your Square account to your digital menu boards.

Follow the steps below to integrate Square with Pickcel:
  1. Ensure that you have an active Square account with your menu items already added.
  2. Log in to your Pickcel account.
  3. After logging in to your Pickcel account, navigate to the "Apps" section.
  4. Search for the menu app and click on "Create Menu."
  5. Click on the "Create custom menu" button located on the top right corner.
  6. Click on the "Import data" button and select “Sign in” with Square in popup.
  7. Sign in to your Square account and provide the necessary details for authentication.
  8. Upon successful authentication, your menu items available in your Square account will be fetched automatically and populated in the creation page.
  9. Make changes to settings such as font colors/styles, template designs, etc., according to your preferences.
  10. Once you're satisfied with the settings, save the menu and assign it to the screens.
Updating Menu Items:
If there are any changes in item pricing or description in your Square account, follow these steps:
  1. Edit the menu in Pickcel from media list.
  2. Click on the "Refresh" option available at the top.
  3. Make necessary modifications and update to ensure you have the latest changes reflected on your digital menu boards.
On refresh, any local changes done in menu app will be lost, and the menu will be updated with Square data.
