What is Multi-slide?
The Multi-slide option in Pickcel lets you add more than one slide inside the same composition.
Each slide can have its own layout and zones. This helps you show different types of content in one composition without creating separate layouts.
You can use Multi-slide when you want to:
show different layouts in one composition
add different content on each slide
manage everything from one place
For example:
Slide 1 can show promotions
Slide 2 can show announcements
Follow these steps:
Log in to your Pickcel account.
Go to Composition.
Click Add Composition.
Select Create new layout.
Create the first slide by choosing the layout type and adding zones.
Click + Add Slide on the right side.
A pop-up message will appear asking for confirmation.
Click OK.
A new slide will be added.
Add zones to the new slide as needed.
Switch between slides using the Slide 1, Slide 2, and other slide tabs.
After finishing, click Save Layout.
In the layout editor:
+ Add Slide lets you create a new slide
Slide 1 / Slide 2 lets you move between slides
+ Add Zone lets you add zones to the selected slide
Layout Type lets you choose the screen size and orientation
Save Layout saves the complete multi-slide layout
Each slide can have its own zones
You must add content to the zones in each slide before using the composition
One slide can have up to 8 zones
Let’s say you want one screen to show two different layouts.
You can create:
Slide 1 with one big video zone
Slide 2 with one image zone and one text zone
This way, both layouts stay inside one composition.
I clicked Add Slide, but nothing happened
A confirmation pop-up appears first. Click OK to create the new slide.
I cannot add more zones
A single slide can have a maximum of 8 zones.
I saved the layout, but content is not showing
After saving the layout, you still need to add content to the zones in each slide.
The Multi-slide option helps you create a composition with multiple slides.
You can add a new slide, create different zones for each slide, switch between slides, and save everything in one layout.
I can also make this into a short KB article format with headings like Purpose, Steps, and Notes.
