Pickcel’s Content Approval feature provides complete oversight of contents publishing on the screens, ensuring a structured workflow instead of unrestricted uploads. It helps organizations to enforce strict content policies by requiring all media to undergo an approval process before being displayed. This enhancement strengthens compliance, governance, and overall control over digital signage content, ensuring that only approved materials go live.

Note: This feature is available only for the Enterprise plan.
1. Login to pickcel dashboard with your credentials here.
2. Go to Media, click on Add Media, and upload the media files (Image/Video/PDF/Apps) of your choice.
3. Uploaded media will be in the Pending status by default.
4. Once the media is uploaded, Content approvers and Admins will receive an email notification about the new uploads.
5. Approvers can click on Review & Approve button or go to the Media Module and click on the thumbnail to review the media.
6. After reviewing, the Approver/Admin can either Approve or Reject the media.
7. Users can check the approval status in two ways:
- In the Media list, status will be available against each media under the "Approval Status" column.

- By clicking on the media thumbnail to view details such as status, approver name, and approval date.

8. Once the media is approved, you can proceed to create the composition.
9. When the user tries to add the media files to the zones,
- Approved Media - Can be used in compositions.
- Pending Media - A restriction pop-up will appear until the file is approved.
c. Rejected Media - A restriction pop-up will appear and Cannot be used or resubmitted for approval.
10. Once the composition is created with the approved media files, user can go ahead and publish them to screens from the Publish module.

Points to Be Noted:
1. All uploaded media will be in a Pending state by default.
2. Approvers can either approve or reject the media.
3. Only Approved media can be used for publishing across screens.
4. Rejected media cannot be used and cannot be reconsidered for approval.
5. This process ensures a one-time review decision to maintain content integrity.
