How to create Video Wall content with Wall Craft App?

With Pickcel's Wall Craft app and signage players, you can set up a digital signage video wall or synchronize content across multiple screens seamlessly. 



Follow these steps to configure your video wall without needing a video wall controller.

Hardware Setup : 
  1. Login to your account at console.pickcel.com
  2. Click on add screen & enter the 6 digit registration code you get on the signage screens
  3. Register all the screens that are part of the video wall
  4. Ensure all screens are connected to a router through ethernet
  5. Register a media player as a master device to play the sync content
  6. Connect an IP streamer device to Master device via HDMI. This device streams the content in sync across the signage screens.
  7. Once the devices are ready, go to apps in console and search for wall craft



Creating & Configuring Wall Craft App : 
  1. Search for wall craft in Pickcel's Appstore
  2. Create wall craft app by providing all the required details 
  3. Enter the ip address which can be found on the IP streamer device
  4. Enter the coordinates of the content to be played on the screens as explained below

To play sync content on multiple screens : 
  1. To play same content across multiple screens in sync, you need only 1 wall craft app.
  2. Create Wall craft app with these coordinates - x : 0, y : 0, width : 1, height : 1


  3. Create a composition with the wall craft app and schedule it to the signage screens where content needs to be played in sync.
  4. Now create master composition where the actual contents are added to the composition that needs to be played on the screens.
  5. Publish this master composition to the Master device and the device will start playing the contents in sync through the IP-Streaming device across all screens.

To play content on a Symmetric Video Wall :



  1. Create wall craft app for each screen with their respect coordinate 
  2. Here is an example for 2*2 video wall setup
    1. Left_Top_Screen : x : 0, y : 0, width : 0.5, height : 0.5
    2. Right_Top_Screen : x : 0.5, y : 0, width : 1, height : 0.5
    3. Left_Bottom_Screen : x : 0, y : 0.5, width : 0.5, height : 1
    4. Right_Bottom_Screen : x : 0.5, y : 0.5, width : 1, height : 1


  3. Create a separate compositions for each screen with the associated wall craft app
  4. Schedule the compositions to the signage screens where content needs to be played in sync
Publishing the content to the screens :
  1. Create master composition where the actual contents are added to the composition that needs to be played on the screens
  2. Publish this master composition to the Master device and the device will start playing the contents in sync once the download finishes.

To play content on an Asymmetric Video Wall :
